Maison Suisse, built as a Northeast Harbor summer cottage, has
the eccentric charm and inviting interior spaces characteristic
of the Shingle Style of architecture.
Located right in the village of Northeast
Harbor, Maison Suisse is set back from Main Street by a rustic
garden.
This garden is the legacy of a former owner, who came to this
country from Switzerland and named the cottage “Maison
Suisse.”
Maison Suisse has fireplace “common rooms” for guests
to enjoy, as well as outside garden seating.
There are ten guest rooms and suites,
all with private baths, cable TV and “out-call” telephones.
All accommodations include a full restaurant
breakfast.
