Just down the lane from Maison Suisse, the more-recently built Peregrine Lodge follows an adaptation of an early twentieth century design by the late Fred Savage (Northeast Harbor's native son architect and architect of Maison Suisse Inn). Peregrine has five king-bedded rooms,
each with private balcony or terrace and, one two-story suite.
While
a favorite with many individuals, Peregrine Lodge has also proven
to be perfect for rental in its entirety, for small groups of
guests. With only five guest rooms, and suite if included, it
has welcomed family reunions, wedding parties, anniversaries,
and groups of hikers, musicians, and friends, and smaller business
groups. We have had small groups of business people come to combine
brain-storming with sea kayaking and hiking. Because every room
has its own en suite bathroom, private telephone and satellite
TV, wireless DSL (and A/C should it be wanted), Peregrine Lodge
has provided a very successful lodging solution for many groups.
The
kitchen of Peregrine Lodge's “Grand Suite,” PL26,
can seat up to fourteen guests, and has been a useful adjunct
for some groups, when available. View
